150 Bourbon - 5 Grain Birthday Bourbon

...Dropping at Van Alstyne's 2024 Fall Der Al Festival. Costing of Local Corn Wheat, and Oats along with a Texas Malted Barley and Quinoa. Cask strength at 107P and the first bourbon mashed, distilled, aged and bottled by Dowling Distilling. Very limited at only 72 bottles.

 The Denison and Sherman Railroad Company opened the 1st Interurban Electric Train in Texas, with the first segment  connecting Denison to Sherman on May 1, 1901. Commemorating this significant event, Dowling Distilling is releasing the 1st Interurban Bourbon in its Interurban Bourbon series. "Rail Ryed" is a high Rye Bourbon Whiskey that is hand curated and rested in our signature Honey Jalapeno casks. 

Pairs nicely with your favorite cigar. AGED Honey Jalapeno is the first aged, released spirit by Dowling Distilling. The same mash bill as the moonshine variation, AGED. It's a good change up from your regular Bourbon.

The mash bill is combination of Corn, Wheat, Barley, 1:3 Ratio of Apple Juice to water, and Cane. It's like a merge of Apple Jack meets Bourbon Whiskey. And, quite delicious. Proofed to 90 for smooth sipper, but also a great addition to many cocktail types. 

It has everything the Original has, but with added Honey, Jalapenos, Poblanos, Bell Peppers, and Jicama! A mash bill that yields a flavor that may exceed your expectations. Proofed at 100P because we like this one a little HOT!

90P Moonshine distilled in-house from Prickly Pears, Pineapples, Grapes, Apples and Cane. Pairs well in the "Prickly in Pink" cocktail. Did you know, the Prickly Pear is the State Plant of Texas?
